A real person makes every batch
Hi, I’m Ashley.
I’m the baker and owner behind Southern Spoonfuls. I’m a wife, a mom of three boys, and a self-taught baker who grew up watching my great-grandmother work her magic in the kitchen.
Baking professionally wasn’t where I started. I worked as an X-ray tech and medical assistant before taking a leap into something different with my family. While helping my dad run his Pepperidge Farm route, I started baking on the side.
First, I became known as “the cookie lady.”
Then came the cakes. And the cinnamon rolls. And all the other good stuff.
Somewhere along the way, that little side gig became the bakery I’d always dreamed about.

Cookies became cakes, baked goods, and the bakery she’d always dreamed about.
Baking for people has always brought me joy. At the end of the day, it’s seeing the smile on someone’s face when they see the final product. Creating something delicious and beautiful for their special day is such an honor.
When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll usually find me with my husband and boys, somewhere between motocross practice and riding four-wheelers at our property. They’re a huge part of why I get to do what I love.
